Epika Dance is an Award Winning Unique Bollywood Fusion Troupe founded in 2010 by Emiko Jane Ishii. We are proud to offer a blend of Bollywood, Bhangra, Kathak, Folk, Japanese, Hip-hop, K-pop, and martial arts in our performances and workshops. Our versatile troupe is the only one in the UK to showcase such a diverse range of dance styles under one roof. Emiko’s Story
Epika Dance was founded with a singular purpose in mind – to empower individuals to chase their dreams and excel in the world of dance. Emiko Jane Ishii, the artistic director and choreographer, has dedicated her life to the art of dance and is determined to pass on her knowledge and passion to the next generation of dancers.

With over two decades of professional experience in various dance styles such as Bollywood, hiphop, Japanese traditional dance, and martial arts, Ishii brings a wealth of expertise to Epika Dance. Through workshops and training programs, she aims to not only hone the skills of aspiring dancers but also instill in them a sense of confidence and self-expression.

As a teacher, Ishii is committed to sharing her knowledge and promoting a healthy lifestyle through dance. She works with individuals of all abilities, including those with special educational needs, to help them discover the transformative power of movement.

With a focus on excellence and innovation, Epika Dance is not just a dance company – it is a beacon of inspiration and empowerment for all who have a passion for dance.
